Biography

Ms. Venable concentrates her practice in all matters affecting educational institutions and libraries. Her work includes policy development, contracts, labor/employment, special education, discrimination, disciplinary actions, construction, and procurement. She has conducted lectures on various education law topics, including presentations for the Nassau County Bar Association, the Annual School Law Conference hosted by the Nassau and Suffolk Academies of Law, and the Annual School Attorney Law Conference hosted by the New York State Association of School Attorneys.

Ms. Venable received the Top Lawyers of Long Island Award (2023), was recognized in Blank Slate Media’s 40 Under 40 (2024), and received the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association Bessie Ray Geffner, Esq. Memorial Award (2024).

Following law school, Tyleana was an immigration defense attorney, particularly in removal defense and post-conviction relief.
